Light Speed is the most in-depth, behind the scenes look at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge yet. It is presented by Derek Muller of Veritasium, a channel of science and engineering videos featuring experiments, expert interviews, cool demos, and discussions with the public about everything science.
With a team with cameras, drones and cars he followed the solar cars and their teams across Australia from Darwin to Adelaide in 2019 to meet the minds (and understand the physics) behind the world’s most advanced solar vehicles. They race 3,000 kilometres across the Australian Outback to test their tech and teamwork, risking life and limb to build a better, more sustainable world.
